About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Chiropractic Journal of Australia (CJA) is a peer-reviewed journal of record dedicated to the advancement of chiropractic science, principles and practice and seeks to fulfil this purpose by critical review and publication of research and scholarly works relating to the scientific bases and clinical applications of chiropractic, and supportive presentations of an educational and/or professional nature. The journal is proudly supported by Guild Insurance
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts adhering to the aims, scope and formatting guidelines of the Chiropractic Journal of Australia will be peer reviewed. The Editor's decision to accept or reject a paper, based on referees' comments is final.
Copyright Policy
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication and allow others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The Chiropractic Journal of Australia has been published by the Australian Chiropractors Association since 1990.
