Dr Pollard is a practicing Sport & Exercise chiropractor (FAICE 2019) based in Sydney, Australia. He is owner and director of a chiropractic clinic located in the Southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla who focuses on sports injury, rehabilitation, prevention and performance. He has beehttps://www.cjaonline.com.au/index.php/cja/about/editorialTeamn in private clinical practice for the last 34 years, has been an Independent Chiropractic Consultant for WorkCover Authority of NSW  (SIRA) for 18 years and has taught for 30 years in the areas of orthopaedics, sport medicine, clinical management and research whilst a professor at Macquarie University. In 2010 he left Macquarie and took up employment with the Australian Catholic University teaching in the Department of Sport Science in the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology. He currently holds Adjunct Professor status at CQUniversity Sydney Australia. He has presented at numerous conferences nationally and internationally in the fields of Chiropractic, Sports Medicine and Research.  Seminars/conferences have been given in the following locations: United States, Canada, Portugal, Norway, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Japan, Chile, and Brazil. Numerous presentions have also been made in all the Australian capitals on many occasions.

He has published 131 manuscripts in medical and chiropractic peer reviewed scientific journals. His basic research interests involve the validation of chiropractic private practice through the investigation and documentation of clinical outcomes. His research interests include: clinical & sports chiropractic, OHS, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and psychosocial factors in chronic pain. He has had 9 PhD and 3 MSc research student completions whilst a Professor at Macquarie University. Additionally, he has helped raise over $1 million dollars for chiropractic research.
